Siphon Technologies (“we”, “us”), [registered address], India, runs https://siphon-tech.com and sells software products. Contact: contact@siphon-tech.com. This policy explains what personal data we collect and how we use it.

What we collect

When you visit our website

IP address, browser and device information, pages viewed, and cookies, collected through analytics (see “Cookies and analytics” below).

When you buy a product

Paddle collects your name, email, billing address, country and payment details to process the order. We receive only your name, email, country, and order details (product, plan, date, amount), which we need to deliver your license and give support.

When you contact support

Your email address and whatever you tell us.

When a product validates its license

The product contacts our license server to check that your license is valid. The request contains only your license key and the URL of the site or installation where the product is running. We don’t receive any other information from your site, such as its content, users, or data, and we don’t use license checks for tracking or analytics.

What we do not collect

Our products that use AI features send your prompts, content and data directly from your own site or device to the AI provider you choose, using your own account and API key. That data does not pass through our servers, and we don’t see, store or use it. We don’t sell your personal data, including your email address.

How we use your data

• To deliver your purchase and manage your license.
• To provide support and send service messages, such as receipts, renewal reminders and security or update notices.
• To validate licenses and prevent sharing or fraud.
• To understand how our website is used and improve it.
• To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

Who we share data with

• Paddle.com — our Merchant of Record, which handles payments, taxes, invoicing and refunds. Paddle acts as an independent controller of your payment data under its own privacy policy (paddle.com/legal/privacy).
• Google Analytics — website analytics.
• Oracle — sending service emails.
• Vercel, Supabase — hosting and data storage.
• AI providers you choose — they receive your data directly from you, under their own terms and privacy policies. We aren’t a party to that.
• Authorities or advisers where we are legally required to disclose data.

We don’t sell personal data or share it for advertising.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics to measure website traffic. It sets cookies and collects information such as your IP address, device and pages visited. You can withdraw consent at any time and block cookies in your browser settings. You can also opt out through Google’s Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

International transfers

We are based in India, and our providers (including Paddle, Google and our hosts) may process data in other countries. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for those transfers.

How long we keep data

• Order and license records: 5 years after your last purchase, or as long as tax and accounting law requires.
• Support emails: 1 year.
• Analytics data: 26 months.
• License validation logs: 12 months.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, to withdraw consent, and to complain to a data protection authority. Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can also request access, correction and erasure, and nominate someone to exercise your rights. To make a request, email contact@siphon-tech.com. We’ll respond within 7 days. For payment data held by Paddle, you can also contact Paddle directly.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data. No system is completely secure, but we limit what we collect, which keeps risk down.

Children

Our products and website are not intended for anyone under 18, and we don’t knowingly collect their data.

Changes

We may update this policy. The latest version will be posted here with an updated date, and we’ll email active customers about material changes.
